  • Day 00/01 - Singapore / Tbilisi

  • Day 02 - Tbilisi

    Full day explore Tbilisi. Stroll down Rustaveli Avenue and visit Metekhi Church of the Virgin and Sioni Cathedral, the main cathedral of Tbilisi. Stroll along and see e the synagogue and bath houses; a herbal medicinal shop and the history museum.

  • Day 03 - Tbilisi - Excursion to Mtshketa / Uplistsikhe / Gori

    Drive to Mtskheta, ancient capital of eastern Georgia. Visit the 7th century Jvari Church perched on a cliff overlooking the city, the first Christian church; Sveti-Tskhoveli Cathedral, and the Samtavro monastery complex, with its shrine to St Nino.

    Drive to the town of Gori, infamous as the birthplace of Josef Stalin. Visit the Stalin Museum, the Uplistsikhe cave town.

  • Day 04 - Tbilisi - Excursion to David Gareja

    A full day excursion to the David Gareja monastery complex, set in the semi-desert on the border with Azerbaijan. Hike about 2 hours to visit two of the monasteries, enjoy a picnic lunch before returning to Tbilisi.

  • Day 05 - Tbilisi / Ananuri / Gudauri / Kazbegi

    Drive northward along the Georgian Military Highway to Ananuri, a beautiful 16th century fortress complex.  Continue the drive into the Caucasus Mountains to Georgia’s top ski area, Gudauri. Enjoy lunch with the mountain scenery.

    After lunch, drive to Kazbegi.  Walk up to visit the Tsminda Sameba Church, perched in a beautiful, solitary spot high above the village of Kazbegi.

  • Day 06 - Kazbegi / Tbilisi / Sanahin / Haghpat / Dzoraget

    Drive to border via Tbilisi. Cross the border to Armenia and drive to visit 10th century monastic complexes of Sanahin and Haghpat, both are UNESCO World Heritage sites.  Continue for a short visit to Saghmosavank, a monastery in a breathtaking site in the deep canyon of Qasakh

    Arrive Dzoraget, sits along the Debed River nestled among the forest-covered hills.

  • Day 07 - Dzoraget / Yerevan - Echiamiadzin

    This morning, drive to Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. Start a city tour, including a visit to the Memorial Park and the Museum of the Armenian Genocide

    Explore the 2 nearby UNESCO World Heritage sites: the ancient cathedrals in Echmiadzin and the Zvartnots ruins from the 7th century.

  • Day 08 - Yerevan - Excursion to Khor Virap / Garni / Geghard

    Start an excursion to Khor Virap Monastery, setting against the stunning view of Biblical Mt Ararat.  Drive to Garni, a pagan Hellenistic temple in a picturesque setting. After lunch, visit the UNESCO-listed Geghard monastery, amazingly rock-cut from caves.

  • Day 09 - Yerevan / Lake Sevan / Sadakhlo Border / Tbilisi Airport / Singapore

    This morning, check-out and drive 1 hour to high Lake Sevan, the biggest lake in the Caucasus, occupying a full 5% of the area of this small country. Visit the 8th century Sevanak monastery, for a marvelous view over the lake and surrounding mountains.

    Lunch at local restaurant and then drive to border Sadakhlo with Georgia. After border formalities drive to Tbilisi. Transfer to Tbilisi airport for flight.

    Azerbaijan differs from its neighbors Georgia and Armenia in two important ways: it is majority Muslim; and it has huge oil reserves. A wealthy capital contrasting with a well preserved historic old town, a day trip to Gobustan and Ateshgah is richly rewarding.  *Best extension arranged by Qatar Airways flight, as a stopover at Baku from Tbilisi to Doha.

    DAY 9 YEREVAN/LAKE SEVAN/SADAKHLO BORDER/ TBILISI/BAKU
    Drive to Lake Sevan, the biggest lake in the Caucasus. Visit the 8th century Sevanak monastery, for a marvelous view over the lake and surrounding mountains.

    After lunch, cross border at Sadakhlo back to Armenia. After dinner, transfer to Tbilisi airport for flight.

    DAY 10 BAKU
    Visit the historic Old Town of Baku, including Icheri Sheher, the fortress of Old Baku dating to the 15th century, the Shirvan Shahs’ Palace Complex, medieval market square and caravanserai and Synyk Kala Minaret, completed in 1093, is the city’s oldest building.

    After lunch, visit the historical part of downtown, including the State Carpet Museum, and have a panoramic view of Baku city and the Caspian Sea.

    DAY 11 BAKU / SINGAPORE
    Travel outside the city to Gobustan, an archeological monuments with more than 4,000 rock drawings from the Neolithic period. Continue to the Absheron Peninsula with the oldest oil fields in Azerbaijan, and the pink salt lake of Masazir Golu. Visit the Zoroastrian Fire Temple at Ateshgyakh.

    Later transfer to the airport for departure flight.
