Yunnan

Yunnan in southwest China is home to some of China’s most spectacular mountain sceneries and three of Asia’s mightiest rivers, resulting in the formation of some of the most breathtaking gorges and lush river valleys in the country.

Yunnan is the most ethnically diverse area in China, being home to 25 of China’s 56 ethnic groups - from the Muosuo in Lugu Lake to the Dai in Xishuangbanna,  Naxi in Lijiang to the Tibetan in Shangri-la - each with its unique costume, tradition, architecture and festival.
