  • Day 01 - Singapore / Tokyo
    Fly Singapore/Tokyo - Haneda SQ636 2150/0520+1 (6h 30m) – Daily

  • Day 02 - Tokyo

    Be met at the airport and transferred to city. Start at Kanda-Matsuya, a long-established noodle restaurant and eat their traditional handmade soba. After lunch, take a stroll in the Ningyocho and enjoy the unique flair of old downtown Edo! Walk into Kappabashi “Wax food” district, and visit the Japanese Sweet shop (Kanmi-dokoro) and eat Anmitsu, a Japanese style sweet dish.

    After an afternoon of walking, enjoy dinner at “Ningyocho Imahan” – serving Sukiyaki with the finest Black Wagyu meat since 1895!

    Meals included: Soba Lunch and Sukiyaki Dinner

  • Day 03 - Tokyo

    Visit Tsukiji market in the morning, Japan’s largest fish market then walk to sushi school to learn how to make sushi for lunch. Afternoon, visit the food-hall of the departmental stores in the fine shopping district of Ginza – practically a food-art gallery!

    Then catch subway to Harajuku and take a city walk into Omotesandou and Takeshita Dori street – lined with chic and upmarket homegrown boutiques! Visit Meiji Shrine. For dinner, visit the locals’ favourite yakitori bar followed by Ramen noodles!

    Meals included: Breakfast, Yakitori and Ramen dinner 

  • Day 04 - Tokyo / Kyoto

    Take the bullet train to Kyoto in the morning. 

    Upon arrival, visit Nanzenji Temple and eat Yudofu (a tofu dish, specialty of Kyoto). Then walk the Philosophers Path up to Ginkakuji Temple.  The temple consists of the Silver Pavilion, half a dozen other temple buildings, a beautiful moss garden and a unique dry sand garden. Then visit the ponto-cho area where the old part of Kyoto Township is preserved. Walk further to Nishiki market to see the traditional food culture of Kyoto.

    This evening, enjoy an elaborate and exquisite Kyo-Kaiseki (traditional, multi-course) dinner.

  • Day 05 - Kyoto

    Travel to Saga-Arashiyama. Take the torokko train from Saga to Kameoka, looking down a magnificent view of Hotsugawa River, followed by a boat trip of Hotsugawa River to Arashiyama. Take a walk around picturesque Togetsu Bridge. Today – try the “Kyoto Obanzai” dish, a variety of home cook dishes from fresh local vegetables and produce, for lunch.

    In the afternoon, visit Gekkeikan Okura Sake Museum for some sake tasting before taking a short walk into Fushimi Inari Shrine on a pathway wandering up the wooded slopes of Inari-yama mountain lined with thousands of red torii(Shirine gates). Dinner will be Hand-made Udon noodle (Teuchi Udon).

  • Day 06 - Kyoto / Kobe

    Travel to Kobe by bullet train.

    Walk in the shopping arcade of Sannomiya, enjoying Akashi-yaki (soft egg ball with octopus inside), a specialty of Akashi. After lunch, enjoy the Kobe Bay Cruise, then travel by cable car and ropeway to visit Maya Mountain top to overlook the stunning night view of Kobe city! Evening – visit Unagi Kappo for dinner to enjoy some Eel dishes

    Meals included: Breakfast, Akashiyaki lunch

  • Day 07 - Kobe-Osaka / Nara / Kobe

    Travel to Osaka by train and have a 2-hour walking tour of Osaka Castle Park.  Have lunch at Temmabashi-suji for Okonomiyaki - a Japanese savoury pancake. After lunch, walk through the long shopping street of Temmabashi-suji Shoten-gai.

    Then, travel to Nara (35 minutes by express) and visit Todaiji-temple and Deer Park. Take a walk in Mt. Kasuga-yama with well-preserved ancient virgin forests and the Kasuga Great Shrine, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site.

    Train back to Osaka in the evening, and visit Dotonbori in Namba, the night life and gourmet district. Have Fugu (Blow fish) dinner, prepared as Sashimi and boiled in a pot. Return to Kobe late evening.

    Meals included: Breakfast, Okonomiyaki snack and Fugu Blowfish dinner 

  • Day 08 - Kobe / Singapore

    This morning, make your way to the airport. (Local way: You will make your way to the airport with clear instructions and tickets from your guide - 90mins; Private arrangement: your driver will meet and transfer you with a private vehicle)
