Itinerary

Choose Your Preferred Way Of Travelling!

  • The Local Way: See Japan through the eyes of the everyday locals in the most cost-effective way using its safe and efficient subways, trains and buses - fully accompanied by your private guide.
  • Private Arrangement: For best comfort and privacy, opt for a private vehicle throughout with a private guide.

 

  • Day 01 - Singapore / Kansai / Kyoto
    Fly Singapore/Osaka - Kansai SQ 618 0130/0850 (6h 20m) – Daily


    Upon arrival, met and transfer by private car or shuttle bus/train to Kyoto.

    Visit the beautiful Kiyomizu Temple, one of the best places for cherry blossom and a view over Kyoto. Then, walk down the “pottery street” lined with many old houses, shops and galleries.

    Optional: You may wish to have a traditional dinner and watch a performance of Maiko (Geisha Apprentice) in the Gion district

  • Day 02 - Kyoto
    This morning, we visit the gorgeous Ginkakuji or commonly known as the “Silver Pavilion”. From here, we take the famous Philosopher Walk and end near Heian Shrine where we make a quick visit.
    If time permits, visit Nijo castle, seat of Japanese medieval power for many centuries.

    In the afternoon, take up 1 of the optional half day tours:

    Option 1: Samurai Kembu Experience - dress in local costume and learn the etiquette of Samurai as well as basic kembu.
    Option 2: Visit either one of these interesting museums:-
    International Manga Museum: It holds one of the world’s largest collections of manga related material, centering modern Japanese manga and collections of comics from around the world.
    Steam Locomotive Museum: Established in 1872, the museum features steam locomotives as well as the history and the development of railway operation in japan through numerous displays. 
    Surrounding Kyoto, there are some ancient cities, you are suggested to stay 1 more night in Kyoto to explore the ancient Japan.

  • Day 03 - Kyoto / Hakone - Mt Fuji
    Make your way to Hakone, the gateway to Mt. Fuji.

    Connect Hakone Yumoto/ Gora Hakone Tozan Railway 1122/1204

    Upon arrival, travel by cable car and ropeway to Togendai. After lunch, take a delightful cruise on Lake Ashi aboard a sightseeing boat.

  • Day 04 - Hakone- Mt Fuji / Tokyo

    You have a free morning to enjoy your ryokan or explore natural surrounds of Mt Fuji at your own leisure.
    Afternoon, catch the train to Tokyo on your own.

    Connect Hakone- Yumoto/ Tokyo- Shinjuku Romance Car (Hakone 36- exe 6) 1647/1819


    Proceed to your hotel in Tokyo.

  • Day 05 - Tokyo

    This morning, we head for Asakusa where we visit Sensoji and Meiji shrine.  


    In the afternoon, it’s family bonding time!  Choose one of the following:

    1.    Learn the basic training for novice ninjas, such as shuriken or ninja star throwing.
    2.    Taiko drumming – a truly Japanese musical art-form
    3.    Karate lesson- welcome to the world of martial arts
    4.    Tea Ceremony class – learning the “way of tea”

    Optional: Take an extraordinary view of Tokyo by night from a helicopter after sunset (additional charges apply)

  • Day 06 - Tokyo
    Wake up early to watch Sumo wrestlers practicing (subject to Sumo tournament schedules), and visit the Sumo Museum. Enjoy a Chanko lunch.

    In the afternoon, choose one of the following activities:-

    Option 1: Railway Museum: A new museum to see the trains of different eras and understand more about them.
    Option 2: Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Miraikan). The
    exhibits target a range of ages with lots of kid friendly fun.)
    Option 3; Fire Museum: Dress up as a fireman and play in fire trucks and helicopters. Best for younger children.

    Extend another day or two for some fun-filled fun at Disneyland Tokyo.

  • Day 07 Tokyo / Singapore
    You have another day free to explore Tokyo before transferring to the airport for flight. Optional: Rise early today to visit the Tsukiji Fish Market at dawn.
