Itinerary

  • Day 01 - Singapore / Marrakech
    Fly Singapore/Doha QR945 0225/0455 (7h 30m) - Daily
      Doha/Marrakech via Casablanca QR1395 0945/1740 (9hr 55min) - Except Tue & Sat

     

    Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

  • Day 02 - Marrakech

    This morning, visit the Koutoubia Mosque with its 252-feet minaret, one of the best examples of the Hispano-Moresque art which combine superb craftsmanship and restrained luxury.

    Continue to Baadii Palace, with its vast courtyard, four sunken gardens and reflecting pools which recalls to the palace’s former majesty under Sultan Ahmed al-Mansour. Visit El Bahia Palace, standing in a two-acre garden and built as Morocco’s greatest palace of the late 19th century.

    After lunch, explore the souks which bursts in riots of colors, noise and activities. Watch craftsmen at work, gilding on leather, hammering out copper, embroidering silks or smoothing out the surface of cedar wood table.

    Late afternoon, visit the famous Djemaa El Fna Square. For centuries, the square has been a center for public meetings. Today, it provides constant ever-changing entertainment where the charm of Moroccan folklore operates: story tellers, snake charmers, acrobats and folkloric bands.

  • Day 03 - Marrakech / Essaouira

    This morning, you will visit Mohamed VI Museum, the meticulously planned Majorelle Gardens (created from the 1920s by French painter Jacques Majorelle), Medersa Ben Youssef with its mind-boggling profusion of Hispano-Moresque ornaments and admire exhibits of Moroccan arts in Marrakech Museum.

    After lunch, you will depart on a 3-hour drive to Essaouira, an 18th century town enclosed by Gothic battlements, blue-shuttered houses, colonnades, wood workshops and art galleries. Boat builders and sardine fishermen provide a very raw and charming backdrop to the beach.

    En route, visit an Argan Oil Cooperative. Upon arrival in Essaouira, check-in to your accommodation and you can spend the afternoon at leisure.

  • Day 04 - Essaouira

    This morning, you will explore the UNESCO-listed medina, the Jewish quarter, the historic harbor, fish market and the souks where leather goods, desert burnooses, jewellery, wooden gifts and local arts are showcased.

    Spend the afternoon at your own leisure. You may wish to stroll the beachfront or watch the fishermen going by their daily lives on the historic harbor.

  • Day 05 - Essaouira / Agafay Desert

    After breakfast, depart towards Agafay Desert (approximately 4 hours). En route, enjoy tea with a traditional Berber family.

    In Agafay Desert, enjoy a range of activities such as quad biking, buggy rides, horse rides and camel rides (additional cost applies).

  • Day 06 - Agafay Desert / Imlil

    Morning at leisure or enjoy activities in the Agafay Desert.

    Afterwards, drive towards Imlil. Enjoy an excursion to Toubkal National Park, climbing up to mountain to discover the panoramic view of the surrounding High Atlas mountains.

  • Day 07 - Imlil

    Today, enjoy half-day countryside trekking with picnic lunch. Start the trek up to a waterfall and follow the course of Reyara River to Armed village (the highest village in North Africa at 2,000m) where you will enjoy mint tea at a local Berber house. Cross over to Aït Mizane valley for beautiful views of the surrounding mountains before returning to your Kasbah.

    Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • Day 08 - Imlil / Marrakech / Singapore
    Morning at leisure to enjoy Kasbah facilities. In the afternoon, drive approximately 2 hours to the airport for your flight home.
