Itinerary

  • Day 01 - Singapore/Phnom Penh
    Fly Singapore/Phnom Penh MI602 0740/0835 (1h 55m) - Daily

    Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the hotel. Have the rest of the day at leisure.

    OPTIONAL: HIDDEN GEMS OF PHNOM PENH
    Home to about 1.5 million people, Phnom Penh has been Cambodia’s capital since French colonisation of the country. Weave through Phnom Penh’s colourful city on the cyclo and take in the highlights that showcase the city’s fusion past and present and uncover the hidden gems of the city and its architecture.

     

    OPTIONAL: Nightlife and Food Tour by Vespa
    This evening guests will be picked by the personal Vespa driver for a night to remember. On this Phnom Penh night tour, there is the chance to experience Cambodian cuisine, delicious cocktails and local beer, and see firsthand the unique nightlife that this capital city has to offer.

  • Day 02 - Phnom Penh/Mondulkiri

    Depart Phnom Penh in the early morning as you head to the far east of Cambodia and the province of Mondulkiri. Travel time will be 7-8 hours through paved roads and include stops en route.

    Enjoy the scenic drive with rice fields, buffalos being washed, the land being ploughed and other typical village life.

    Lunch is taken at a local restaurant before continuing to Mondulkiri province. Mondulkiri is home to the Phnong indigenous tribe who speak their own native language

  • Day 03 - Mondulkiri

    Breakfast at your hotel.

    This morning, drive 1½ hours to meet an ethnic Phnong community living in the middle of the Mondulkiri Protected Forest. The community has a long history of living in this forest having left only during the Khmer Rouge period.

    Learn about the community, their landscape and to their culture and customs. Afterwards, embark on an easy trek to experience the life of the Phnong in the forest.Continue to Bou Sraa, a particularly scenic two-tier waterfall and the largest in Cambodia.

    Trekking distance: 10.5km, moderate difficulty

  • Day 04 - Mondulkiri

    After breakfast, we start with a visit to Romnea II Waterfall.  Then we head to Phnom Do mom, a mountain that is considered as one of the sacred places and also as a cultural Cambodian centre in the region.

    The final stop of the day is at a hilltop known for its view of the ‘Sea Forest’ – an amazing view as you look across the rolling hills with the hills appearing like waves! Enjoy sunset from the hill before returning to your hotel.

  • Day 05 - Mondulkiri/Phnom Penh

    On the way out of Sen Monorom, stop to visit the village of Putang, another Phnong rich in traditions. Take some time to interact with the local indigenous people and learn about their way of life!

    Drive back to the capital, Phnom Penh. A rubber factory is visited outside of the town of Chub with the opportunity to learn about the various stages of production. Continue to Phnom Penh with an optional visit of the Skuon market. Here, you can find many stores selling the ch’ngain (tasty) eight-legged creatures - a favourite snack of many Cambodians.

    Arrive into Phnom Penh in the late afternoon and transfer to your hotel to check in.

  • Day 06 - Phnom Penh/Singapore

    Today, have some time at leisure before transferring to the airport for your flight home. You may wish to extend your trip and spend some time in Siem Reap for the temples or in Sihanoukville to relax.
